Kia ora whanau - Welcome to Room 16. I look forward to working with your child to explore new opportunities both within the classroom and outside, such as Camp Carey (19-21st February). If you have any hesitations or your child is unable to attend camp, please contact me as soon as possible, jkellie@marinaview.school.nz    This week your child has been introduced to our new classroom website. The website has been tailor-made to our students’ needs and to the learning that will be taking place this term. The purpose of the website is to provide our students with student agency so that they may choose what they want to learn and when, thus increasing their engagement. It also allows students to share their learning experiences with their family. It provides students with an opportunity to practice digital citizenship in a safe and controlled environment.
